Steps to become a CPA
Find out what you need to do to become a CPA Australia member.
CPA Australia has affiliations with a range of leading accounting bodies all around the world. This network ensures you enjoy access to a range of resources and other benefits while working overseas. In most cases, you can also apply for a reciprocal membership, or exemptions from the CPA Program, via our Mutual Recognition Agreements (MRA). Take a look at a few of our international partners.
CPA Australia has signed a memorandum of cooperation (MoC) with the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Macau Society of Registered Accountants.
CPA Australia has also signed an MoC with the Vietnam Association of Certified Public Accountants and Auditors, the National Accounting Council of Cambodia, Kampuchea Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Auditors, and the Vietnam Association of Accountants and Auditors.
Members of these bodies can benefit from an exchange of training and continuing professional development programs.
